The MTO formed part of the broader transaction involving the acquisition of a controlling stake in Mandom Corporation, valued at approximately USD640 million, by Kalon Holdings Co., Ltd., resulting an indirect acquisition of PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk. This transaction represents a significant development in the consumer goods sector and underscores the complexity of cross-border transactions involving public listed companies and multi-jurisdictional regulatory considerations.
