AI Governance Discussion at BCA Data Conference 2025

Our Partner, Raditya Kosasih, was one of the panelists for the “AI Governance” panel discussion for “BCA Data Conference 2025: Ignite the Future with AI.”

Kosasih highlighted the legal landscape and regulatory framework surrounding the use of AI in Indonesia, particularly in relation to the processing of personal data and scenarios that involve cross-border data sharing. He also discussed how legal professionals can support the implementation of AI governance, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. As the co-founder of APPDI, Kosasih further elaborated on the importance of having proper feasibility assessment standards for AI systems to prevent ethical and legal issues in their implementation and the use of Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs) in the AI lifecycle.

We extend our sincere appreciation to BCA for the kind invitation. Events like this are key to building a stronger ecosystem for ethical AI—thank you to all panelists and participants for the insightful exchange.
